Employee Assistance Program

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential counselling service offered by employers to help workers maintain their psychological & emotionally wellbeing.

Envision Services' program offers support and counselling to employees coping with work related or personal issues.  With a proactive and professional approach Envision Services can help resolve these issues before they escalate; reducing or eliminating any negative effects for both the employee and organisation.

How does EAP help my business?

  • Fostering a "work culture of care" will engender staff engagement; positively impacting productivity and performance.

  • Reduces workplace conflict and occupational stress as we provide resolution counselling which can increase workplace morale and reduces absenteeism.

  • Improves employer & employee relationships building an environment of trust.

  • Increases employee retention rate as staff morale improves.

How EAP works?

Very simply. The employer chooses the plan that works for them. The organisation is then provided with a helpline number for their employees who can correspond to the counsellor via text/ email or phone and the counsellor will respond and assist as required.

What does Envision Services do?

We offer EAP counselling via zoom online, telephone or face to face; working closely with the individual. Together we explore options and strategies to address and resolve their direct and underlying issues, such as depression, anxiety, workplace conflict, work and personal stress, grief and loss, communication problems and low self-esteem.

EAP

A few interesting reports and analysis on EAP and ROI

  • According to a IBIS report published in 2018, there has been an increased uptake in EAP programs as a result of low unemployment rates and a tight labour market.

  • In addition untreated mental health conditions result in over 6 million lost working days and 12 million days of reduced productivity every year in Australia.

  • 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health condition in any given year.

  • Research indicates EAPs have a significant positive impact on the individual and work place and can produce a Return on Investment (ROI) of between 5-10 times the employer’s investment.

  • Provide support, guidance and professional insight and knowledge into assisting employees through the career transition process.

  • Provide advice and develop a personalised plan to position them effectively in their next role.

  • Evaluate their CV, LinkedIn profile and give examples of particular roles that are appropriate.

  • Do interview technique practice, role plays and work through interview questions behavioural and competency based that could be asked.

  • Develop strategies to help manage this transition effectively.

Executive Coaching and Career Coaching

It is widely recognised that an organisation's culture is predominantly created and developed by its leaders. Envision Services offers coaching to improve an organisation's performance, by developing the communication, conflict resolution, decision-making and skills of their leaders.

Coaching involves a collaborative relationship between the coach and the individual to gain new skills, insights and perspectives that can achieve real outcomes & results. We develop the leader in real time, within the context of their current job, allowing them to maintain their day to day responsibilities. The aim is to build on the employee’s strengths, identify and work on skills gaps and enhance efficacy in their work role.

  • Identify support mechanisms to move forward in their role.

  • Through workplace tools identify their values and where there are gaps/overlaps within their role.

  • Identify areas in work and personal life where they thrive, why it works and how to leverage these into areas that need development.

  • Develop an action plan, with milestones, to help optimise their performance, work on their skill gaps and reach their goals.

  • Strategise better ways to handle their workload and work-life balance.
